Each sponge measures 12x10cm (5x4 inches), just big enough for a medium sized hand. Listing is for a single sponge.
This is a reusable sponge to replace plastic sponges for bathing and showering. One side is made from 100% cotton, the other is 100% bamboo, and the soft filling in the middle is organic sustainable kapok. The hanging loop is 100% cotton twill tape, or ribbon, depending on what I have to hand. ***Please note that pattern placement may vary***
The bamboo is a very soft, natural fibre that offers a gentle touch, it feels so much nicer on the skin than plastic alternatives. It’s also much more pliable and moulds better to the shape of your hand. It can be rung out and air dried in between times, and washed in the machine with your other laundry to come out ready to go again (mind your colours, of course).
For greater exfoliation some of my customers have been using the jute-backed sponge – listed in the shop as a ‘reusable kitchen sponge’ to experience a more scrubby cleanse. Some folk prefer this bamboo sponge for cleaning, you do you :)
Max 40 degrees wash, bleach or products containing bleaching agents will damage the cotton so are best avoided.
