These masks are my own wee invention, using spare blackout curtain lining that was heading for the bin as the inner layer for these supreme blackout eye masks, I really couldn't believe it works, but it does!
These fabric for these masks is a 100% quilting cotton.
The strap is a piece of 1" elastic covered with the same fabric as the front, and unbleached cotton is used as the inner layer that goes against the delicate skin in the eye area - it's really soft and durable and washes well. All masks in this listing are backed with unbleached cream cotton. The blackout fabric I use is upcycled polyester curtain lining/offcuts.
The strap will expand to fit a head circumference of up to about 24" (60cm) approx. The masks may feel tight to begin with but will loosen as they are worn. Please request a custom order for a bigger size, I'd be delighted to make one for you that has a good fit. Once placed over the eyes, if you gently pat the fabric into the eye area you will find it provides a better, cosier and darker fit.
The mask itself is over-sized to give a big area for coverage, and to prevent that annoying bit at the bottom where the light creeps in, you know what I'm talking about, if you've been through as many eye masks as me, hehe.
Great for light mornings, travel, meditation and yoga. Instantly calming, great for a sensory experience.
The main part of the mask measures 9 1/2 inches across (24 cm).
