This great little starter set contains 3 wraps – one is 30cm(12”) square and the other two are 20cm(8”) square, approx. Please see the last picture for an idea of the sizes.
Another bestseller at markets, this little set helps you try our wraps, with one larger wrap and two smaller ones. These are made with new fabrics, and offcuts from other projects.
Please note that for hygiene reasons these are stored and supplied in a biodegradable plant film pocket.
Beeswax wraps are pieces of cotton infused with beeswax, pine resin and jojoba oil. Beeswax moulds with the heat of your hands, so wrapping bread, cheese, sandwiches, leftovers or fruits and veggies is simply a case of moulding the wrap around the object and holding your hands there until the wrap sticks to itself. Also great for covering bowls, and even making into little snack packs with some nifty folding! An ideal alternative to foil, cling film and plastic bags, and super reusable hundreds of times.
These are all made at my home, which is a registered premises with the local authority as a food business.
To clean, brush off any crumbs, and wash with cold water and a little dish soap. Air dry, then roll or fold to store. Used daily they will last for about a year, when they can be refreshed by heating them in the oven with a little more beeswax, or disposed of.
Wraps are biodegradable and can be added to home compost, or you can return them to us, see below.
